PARENT GUIDE & FAQ

Everything parents need to know

What is SmartTech Kids Club?

SmartTech Kids Club is a children’s education club within AI Vision Institute of Technology. Our focus is learning through making: children explore coding, robotics, logic games, English language learning, 3D design and STEM through practical activities and creative projects.

Which programme should we choose?

Start with your child’s interests. Coding suits children who enjoy stories, games and logical sequences; robotics combines programming with building. 3D design explores shapes and digital models, while STEM connects scientific experiments with engineering challenges. Logic games support strategic thinking and language activities build communication. Contact us to discuss a suitable starting point.

What ages are the programmes designed for?

Suggested groups vary by programme: logic games from around age 5, coding, language learning and STEM from around age 6, robotics from around age 7, and 3D design from around age 8. These are planning suggestions, not fixed admissions rules. Interest, confidence and previous experience are considered alongside age before a group is agreed.

Does my child need previous experience?

Beginner activities introduce the tools and concepts step by step. Children can start with visual coding, simple construction and guided tasks before progressing to more complex projects. Please tell us about any previous learning so we can discuss an appropriate level rather than repeat familiar material.

How does a typical workshop work?

Our proposed workshop approach starts with a question or challenge, followed by a short explanation, practical exploration and time to create. Children test their ideas, make improvements and explain what they have learned. Activities are adapted to the topic and level; the exact session structure will be confirmed for each programme.

How long are the courses, and how often are classes held?

The suggested starting format is an eight-week module with one workshop each week. Short workshops and summer activities also feature in the proposed annual plan. Session length, dates, group arrangements and attendance requirements will be confirmed before enrolment.

Is the 2027 calendar confirmed?

The calendar is a proposed learning plan organised by month. It shows the themes we aim to cover, including summer technology activities and a year-end project showcase. It is not a booking confirmation. Final dates, venue, delivery format, fees and availability will be announced separately.

Where will classes take place? Can my child learn online?

Teaching venue and delivery format have not yet been confirmed for the 2027 programmes. Please contact the institute for the latest arrangements. Any in-person or online option, equipment requirements and practical limitations will be explained before you enrol.

Does my child need a laptop or robotics kit?

Requirements depend on the selected programme and teaching format. Please wait for the programme equipment list before purchasing a device, software or kit. We will clarify what is provided, what families need to bring and whether any additional costs apply before enrolment.

What language will lessons use?

This website provides information in English and Turkish. This does not automatically mean that every class is bilingual. The teaching language and any language support will be confirmed for the chosen group. Language learning activities currently focus on English.

How will I know what my child is learning?

The proposed learning approach uses practical tasks and projects so children can show what they have explored. Discuss progress updates and parent communication with us when choosing a programme. Any portfolio, report or showcase arrangements will be confirmed for that group; no formal qualification is promised on this page.

Can you accommodate different learning needs?

Please discuss relevant learning, accessibility or communication needs with us before enrolment. We can then assess the suitability of the activity, venue and available support together. Individual arrangements must be agreed in advance; we do not promise specialist provision without that assessment.

What are the fees and cancellation terms?

Fees have not been published for the proposed 2027 programme. Before a booking is made, request the total cost, payment schedule, any equipment charges, cancellation and refund terms, and what happens if a class is postponed. A general information enquiry does not reserve or purchase a place.

How do we enquire or enrol?

Complete the application form below or email hello@aivisionuniversity.com. A parent or guardian can tell us which subject interests them and ask about suitable groups. Please avoid sending sensitive information in an initial enquiry. Enrolment is completed only after programme details, terms and availability are confirmed; you can submit an application using the form below. There is no online payment facility on this page.

How are the videos and workshop photographs used?

The gallery contains images from the club’s institute page, and video cards link to the supplied YouTube videos. A video player loads only when selected and uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain. Parents can contact the institute about an image or video featuring their child, or to ask about permissions for future activities.
